Terms & Conditions – Immersive Programs at Casa do Tempo
1. Program Overview
The immersive programs at Casa do Tempo include shared accommodation, freshly cooked meals per day, coffee breaks, and facilitated sessions. The program is designed for a small group of up to 8 participants to ensure depth, presence, and quality of experience.
2. Registration & Confirmation
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Payment Terms
A 30% deposit is required at the time of confirming registration.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 10 days before the program start date.
Failure to complete payment by this date may result in loss of the reserved place.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 30 days before the start date: refund of payments minus the 10%.
Cancellations less than 30 days of the start date: 50% refund.
Participants are allowed to transfer their place to another person with prior approval from the organizer.
5. Changes to the Program
The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program content, schedule, or facilitators when necessary, while maintaining the integrity and intention of the experience.
6. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and mental well-being throughout the program. The immersive nature of the work requires openness, self-care, and respect for personal limits.
7. Health & Dietary Needs
Participants must inform the organizer of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at least 14 days prior to the program.
8. Liability
The organizer is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings. Participation is at the participant’s own risk.
9. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond the organizer’s control (e.g. natural events, illness, force majeure), the program may be postponed or cancelled. In such cases, participants will be offered a rescheduled date or a partial/full refund depending on costs already incurred.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal.
11. Ethos of this House
At Casa do Tempo we value a high level of care and respect for all: spaces, beings (human and non human) and the environment, we invite all participants to embrace our philosophy, including:
Practice zero stress and zero guilt
Be mindful of own acts
Care for the house, help keep each place clean and tidy
Anything we cannot understand, don’t judge, simply ask
Avoid criticism, take every oportunity to make things better
Be tolerant and kind with yourself and then… with others
Respect confidentiality, especially between participants
Consider resources like water or time as very precious values - use with consciousness.
